The fishing nets, hung out to dry near the pier, shine with an intense Mediterranean blue. Behind the nets you can see La Lonja, from 1388. Where today you can enjoy a good coffee, during the Middle Ages there were commercial exchanges among the most important of the Mediterranean.

The Romans baptized the city already in 123 BC with the name of Palmeria. The name that later the Moors gave to Palma baptized the whole island: Medina Mayurka.

The alleys of the old town echo the atmosphere of past centuries. Here you can stroll through the alleys of one of the centers with the most historic buildings in all of Europe, including superb buildings, avant-garde hotels and state-of-the-art restaurants.
